GTA 6’s 12 New Game Informer Screenshots, Explained One by One
TGG walks through all 12 new GTA 6 screenshots from Game Informer’s issue 382 cover story in his video of September 29, 2026. This article follows his order: what each image shows, which names and places are his readings and not Rockstar’s, and where the site already covers the subject.
Game Informer’s 12 new GTA 6 screenshots, published on September 29, 2026 with its issue 382 cover story, show Vice City at night, a crowded beach, a waterfall park, a storm over the sea, wetland wildlife, a biker chase, a biker bar, Jason in a robbed store and a masked woman with a suppressed rifle. TGG walks through all twelve in his video, and this page follows his order: what each image shows, what TGG reads into it, and where the site already covers the subject in depth. The names and places TGG attaches to them are his readings, marked as such.
What do GTA 6’s 12 new Game Informer screenshots show?
Game Informer says the 14-page cover story comes with 12 exclusive screenshots “showing off more of Grand Theft Auto VI’s sights and citizens”. TGG goes through them from 0:33, in the order below. The “where” column keeps to what the image itself labels or what a named source says; everything else is left as unknown. The story itself is in our GTA 6 Game Informer cover story walkthrough. Access is unclear: TGG says the story is free to read, maybe only in the Game Informer app, but our check of the feature page on September 30, 2026 showed about 280 words, then a subscription prompt.

GTA 6 Vice City at night: the Sahara Arena screenshot
The first image is a Vice City skyline at dusk turning to night: a lit Ferris wheel by a marina, an arena with “sahara arena” lettered on its side, light beams crossing the sky, a plane and a helicopter, and small colored objects glowing on the water in the foreground. Game Informer says Vice City has been completely rebuilt, expanded and set in the modern day instead of the 1980s.
TGG says the view is Bayside and the Sahara Arena, and that a Trailer 2 screenshot showed the same place. He then reads details off it. The Ferris wheel’s reflection in the water now works, which he links to fan complaints about earlier screenshots. The glowing objects on the water look to him like teddy bears, and he guesses, unsure, that they could parody the Miami Water Lantern Festival. His larger point is that Vice City looks neon-lit across the city and not only along Shore Drive. None of that is confirmed by Rockstar. For the city itself, see GTA 6 locations and the GTA 6 map.
GTA 6 beach screenshot: Jason and Lucia, or two NPCs?
The second image is a crowded beach. A man in sunglasses holds a phone on a striped lounger while a woman in a red bikini points beside him. Behind them a man runs with a US flag, a dog wanders near a red beach shelter, and a lifeguard tower stands on the sand. A large bird sits in the foreground.
Here the two readings disagree, and we keep both. Game Informer’s caption presents the picture as an NPC image, in line with its report that NPCs now vary in height, body type and skin detail. TGG reads the couple as Jason and Lucia, “maybe on a date”, and starts with the sweat on their skin. The image names nobody. Game Informer does say the pair can stay friends or become a couple, with no gameplay benefit either way; our Jason and Lucia pages have their official profiles. TGG also calls the dog an Australian shepherd, and says the crowd size delivers on Trailer 1’s beach shot from 2023.
GTA 6 crop duster over a citrus grove
The third image is hazy golden light over a grove. A crop-dusting biplane banks overhead trailing dust, farm workers stand among the trees, a white pickup at the right edge carries the lettering “TUCKERS”, and an orange-shaped water tower stands in the distance. The rest of the truck’s lettering is not legible in this frame.
TGG reads the truck as “Tucker’s Citrus Farms” and the tower as a citrus fruit, probably an orange. He says the workers are coughing because of what the plane drops, and admits he does not know what that is. It reminds him of a shot from GTA V’s Trailer 1. Only the word “TUCKERS” is readable to us, so the farm’s full name stays TGG’s reading. The image does fit what MacPherson told Game Informer about the north, which lists livestock and agriculture farms between the towns; the locations explainer covers that region.
GTA 6 waterfall footbridge: is this Mount Kalaga?
The fourth image is a wooden footbridge beside a waterfall. A man and a woman in sportswear walk past it side by side, a woman walks a dog across the bridge, a man takes a photo, and small figures stand at the top of the falls and on a high walkway, with birds over the cliffs.
TGG says he believes it is Mount Kalaga National Park, adding that it “kind of looks like a zoo”. He reads the couple as Jason and Lucia on a hike or another date, points out hikers on a far hill, and notes a pay telescope that he says returns from GTA V. He also warns there is no railing at the top of the falls. Game Informer’s text does say Mount Kalaga is a national park on Leonida’s northern border, so the guess is plausible, but no caption in the story ties this image to it. What is known about the park is in the locations explainer.
GTA 6 seaplane and storm screenshot
The fifth image is a seaplane lettered “Brian’s Boat Works & Marina” dropping a small package ahead of a dark storm front. Two lightning bolts strike in the distance, turquoise water spreads below with small islets and boats, a long bridge crosses the bay, and a town with a pool complex sits on the right. It is also the image on TGG’s thumbnail, and Game Informer used it as the header of its hurricanes piece.
TGG says Rockstar is showing the Leonida Keys facing east, with Hamlet and Vice City in the distance, and that this is “one of Brian’s planes” on what is probably a smuggling or drug-running mission, with Jason aboard, probably with Cal. The lettering backs the first half: “Brian’s Boat Works & Marina” is the name on a Keys boat yard sign in earlier official footage, and Rockstar describes Brian Heder as a drug runner who still moves product through his boat yard in the Keys. The mission, the passengers and the direction the camera faces stay TGG’s reading; the image shows a plane dropping a package. Storms are the confirmed part: Game Informer reports tropical storms and seasonal hurricanes, and quotes Owen Shepherd describing “heavy clouds, strong winds, dense atmospherics” and a lot of rain. See Brian Heder and Cal Hampton.
GTA 6 biker chase at The Thirsty Wolf
The sixth image has a masked rider on a chrome chopper aiming a pistol. His jacket carries patches, and one reads “Route 68”. Bikers run across a lot behind him toward a wooden bar with a sign reading “The Thirsty Wolf”, under patriotic bunting, while two birds fight over scraps on the ground.
TGG reads the rider as Jason, the bar as a biker clubhouse in Ambrosia, and the men running behind as the Final Chapter MC chasing and shooting him, the same men as in the Trailer 2 screenshots. He also reads a wire-wheels shop on the shirt, which is not legible in our crop, so we leave it out. He guesses the scene could be chapter 3, and calls that just a guess. The only place the image itself names is the bar. For the region, see the locations hub.
GTA 6 wetland wildlife screenshot
The seventh image is a wetland at golden hour. An antlered deer wades through water, a white crane with a red crown stands in the foreground, a pink spoonbill flies in from the left, a large reptile lies on the left bank, ducks and other wading birds sit in the reeds, and dozens of birds fill the sky.
TGG says it is the Everglades and names an alligator, a spoonbill, white-tailed deer, an egret or stork, boar hiding in the bushes and ducks; the boar is his reading, hard to confirm in a shot this busy. The numbers come from Game Informer: over 170 animal species, including more than 60 bird types and more than 30 land mammals. Michael Kane is quoted saying the animals are “accurately researched” and “visually correct in every respect”. The full animal section is in what the Game Informer cover story says about GTA 6’s wildlife.
GTA 6 ATV hunting screenshot
The eighth image shows a man in a black cap from behind, sitting on an ATV with a scoped rifle slung on his back. The stock has a red and black mottled pattern. Two deer stand at a shallow stream ahead of him, one drinking.
TGG reads the rider as Jason about to snipe a deer, and likes seeing “some other camos”. The face is not visible, so the identity is his reading. He then shows Game Informer’s list of confirmed activities on screen: base jumping, billiards, gyms, kayaking, mini golf, scuba diving, street and off-road racing, zoos, air boating and jet skiing, ten in all. SubscribeForTacos’s read-through of the same sidebar has eight, without street and off-road racing or zoos. We could not reconcile the two lists from here. Weapons are covered on the weapons page.
GTA 6 Final Chapter biker in a neon club
The ninth image is a bald, bearded biker in a sleeveless vest with a “FINAL CHAPTER” patch and a skull design, a tattooed forearm and a woman in fishnet with green nails resting a hand on his shoulder. Red and blue neon signs fill the room, and another vested man holds a pool cue at a pool table behind.
TGG reads the room as the Delights strip club and the man as a Final Chapter member; the patch confirms the second, and the first stays his reading. TGG shows it in the NPC part of the story, where Game Informer reports that a team in Los Angeles is said to be dedicated solely to writing NPC chatter and Michael Kane is quoted on tattoos. TGG jokes that the pool players may have trouble focusing.
GTA 6 Jason with a baseball bat
The tenth image is Jason with a baseball bat on his shoulder, looking at the camera. Beside him a cash register’s drawer is open with banded cash inside, and a clerk lies on the floor behind him in a cluttered shop with plates on the shelves.
TGG says it looks like the same store where Jason backhands the clerk in Trailer 2, with the clerk still knocked out, and believes it is in the Keys. He also points to a Tiki statue and some artwork, both outside our crop, so we do not describe them. The cash-register framing sits next to Game Informer’s robbery section: places can be robbed alone or as a duo, loud or quiet, and some missions depend on your current income. Our GTA 6 robberies and GTA 6 heists guides cover what is known.
GTA 6 swamp camp with airboats and alligators
The eleventh image is a stilt camp and shack in a swamp at night. Two men stand on a dock stacked with barrels and tires, one holding a long gun. An airboat is moored at the left and three alligators float in the water in front.
TGG places it in the Everglades in Grassrivers, sees one man shooting an alligator with a pistol or revolver and another with a shotgun, and spots a Sea Sparrow at the top right, which our crop cuts off. Grassrivers is a named region on the site’s map pages; whether this camp is in it is TGG’s call. See the map for the six regions.
GTA 6 masked woman with a suppressed rifle: Lucia?
The twelfth image is a woman with a bandana over her face, crouched behind a barrel at night with a rifle fitted with a suppressor, a red-dot sight and a foregrip. In the yard behind her stand several armed men and two pickups, next to a stop sign.
TGG names her as Lucia; her face is hidden, so that is his identification. He reads a stealth mission or a stealth approach, at what could be a construction site or a gang compound, and takes the attachments as a sign that weapon customization is deep. The attachments are visible; the depth of customization is not shown by one frame. Nothing in the image says whether this is a heist, a story mission or a robbery. See Lucia Caminos and weapons.
What the GTA 6 screenshots do not confirm
- Who the beach couple is: Game Informer’s caption says NPCs, TGG says Jason and Lucia.
- Where scenes 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11 and 12 are set. Only the “sahara arena” lettering, the “The Thirsty Wolf” sign and the “TUCKERS” truck name anything, and those name a business, not a map region.
- Whether the ATV rider and the masked chopper rider are Jason. Neither face is visible.
- What the seaplane’s flight is, or who is aboard. The plane carries the name of Brian’s Boat Works & Marina; the smuggling run is TGG’s reading.
- When or how often hurricanes happen. Game Informer says the frequency and the effect on gameplay and story are not known.
- Which platform or build the images come from. The Game Informer pages we checked say nothing on either.
The glowing water objects in the first image are also unexplained: TGG himself says he does not know what they are.
