Compounds are hit for drugs or cash. The HUD shows bank balance, cash on hand and duffel-bag loot side by side.

Cash goes to an ATM, duffel-bag loot goes to a fence, and only the bank balance is safe.
Die with cash on you and you can lose it. Fences unlock as the story progresses, so early loot may have to wait.

Yes. Rockstar’s Extended Look shows a crew job with Raul Bautista, and the October 15, 2026 launch trailer shows a vault being robbed. Rob Nelson told IGN that robberies are “a HUGE amount” of what you do between story missions. How many heists there are, their names and their payouts are not confirmed.
