What weapons are confirmed in GTA 6?
Only two by name: the tropical weapon pattern from the Vintage Vice City Pack, included with every pre-order, and the Ultimate Edition's Hawk & Little Morgan Revolvers. Of the 51 weapons catalogued below, 27 have been pictured directly in an official Rockstar trailer frame or screenshot; the rest are named only in leaked material.
What real guns are the GTA 6 weapons based on?
GTABase matches 38 of the 51 catalogued weapons to a real firearm, for example the Duke Arms Mustang .357 Revolver (Colt Python (.357 Magnum)), the Girardi ES9 (Beretta 92FS), the Hawk & Little Morgan Revolver (Smith & Wesson Model 629 Classic). Rockstar never names the real gun: these are GTABase's identifications from the models, and the full list is in the table on this page.
Why do GTA 6 guns have different names from real guns?
GTA 6 uses fictional manufacturers and model names (Girardi, Klose, Duke Arms, Hawk & Little) for weapons modeled on real firearms. The real-life match each one is based on comes from GTABase, not from Rockstar.
How many guns will GTA 6 have?
Unknown. Partner database GTABase catalogs 51 individual weapons across 8 classes: 27 seen in official material and 24 known only from leaks or left unlisted. Rockstar has published no official weapons list, and GTA V grew from around 30 weapons at launch to far more over its lifetime.
Will GTA 6 have a weapon wheel?
Yes. Journalist Jason Schreier relays that Rob Nelson told him Rockstar spent months, if not years, trying to replace the weapon wheel and ended up back at one in the final game. The weapon system is meant to be more like Red Dead Redemption 2’s: you cannot carry an unlimited number of guns and pick a loadout.
Can you customize weapons in GTA 6?
Not officially detailed, but GTABase lists 29 of the 51 catalogued weapons as customizable with attachments and tints, and trailer footage already shows rifles fitted with scopes and grips.
What are the Hawk & Little Morgan Revolvers?
A pair of exclusive revolvers for Jason and Lucia included with the Ultimate Edition ($99.99). Hawk & Little is one of the series' fictional gun manufacturers; full in-game stats are not yet known.
