Privacy Policy
Who we are
GTA6 Heists (www.gta6heists.com) is an unofficial fan site about Grand Theft Auto VI, run by Lorenzo Bruno. It is not affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. For any privacy question, write to lorenzobrunopro@gmail.com.
What we collect
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and performance. We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read; it sets its own cookies and receives your IP address, which Google uses to estimate your country. If you vote in the community character rankings, a browser identifier is computed on your device (FingerprintJS) and stored with your vote, only to stop the same browser voting twice. We do not ask for your name, we have no accounts, and we do not sell personal data.
Cookies and local storage we set
g6_geo: your country code, read from Cloudflare when you open the store pages, kept 30 days, used to show retailers and to suggest a translated version of the page. In your browser’s local storage we also remember which sidebar sections you folded, which language suggestions you dismissed and the store country you picked. None of these is used for advertising.
Advertising, Ezoic and Google advertising cookies
Ads on this site are served through Ezoic, which works with Google (Ad Manager and AdSense) and other advertising partners. These partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads, measure them and, where you consent, personalise them. Ezoic’s own disclosures are at ezoic.com/privacy-policy. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Opting out of personalised ads
You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google’s Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info or, in Europe, youronlinechoices.eu. Where the law requires it (the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland among others), a consent dialog asks for your choices before any advertising cookie is set. It is provided by Gatekeeper, Ezoic’s consent management platform, and follows the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the privacy settings link the dialog leaves on the page.
Embedded videos and partner links
Creator videos are embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and only load when you press play; YouTube’s own policy then applies. Store links marked Partner lead to retailers who may set their own cookies and may pay us a commission if you buy; the price you pay does not change.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA), you can ask what data about you we hold, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its use, by writing to lorenzobrunopro@gmail.com. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them.
Children
Grand Theft Auto VI is rated M (Mature 17+). This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
