Vapid Ganado
The Vapid Ganado is the muscle car Jason Duval drives in GTA 6, first seen parked outside his safehouse in the second trailer, with the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition adding modifications to it before launch on 19 November 2026. Rockstar has not detailed how the base truck is obtained outside the story itself, and GTA6Bible and GTABase disagree on exactly what the Ultimate Edition changes about it, covered below.
How do you get the Vapid Ganado in GTA 6?
GTA6Bible and GTABase describe the Ultimate Edition's Ganado content differently, and the vault keeps both readings rather than picking one. GTA6Bible states that Rockstar "named the car" through the Ultimate Edition unveiling, and treats the whole modified truck, a cab spoiler, rear aerials and a special livery, as Ultimate Edition content stored at Jason's safehouse alongside the Dinka Enduro and Crest Kayak. GTABase instead lists the Ganado, which it calls the "Ganado '70", as Jason's personal vehicle by default, unlocked as "Jason's Personal Vehicle", with the Ultimate Edition adding only exclusive mods on top of it. Both databases agree the Enduro and the Kayak sit at the same safehouse for Ultimate Edition owners; see the GTA 6 editions and pre-order bonuses pages for what else the pack bundles.
What has Rockstar shown of the Vapid Ganado?
The Ganado first appeared in the second GTA 6 trailer, parked outside Jason's safehouse, the truck he drives to Leonida Penitentiary to pick up Lucia Caminos. It also appears in the first official GTA 6 artwork release, with Jason and Lucia seated on its hood.
What is the Vapid Ganado based on?
GTA6Bible identifies the Ganado's real-world basis as a fifth-generation Ford Ranchero. GTABase reads the Ganado '70 as based on a 1970 Ford Ranchero and a 1969-1970 Mercury Cougar. Both readings are community identification of a real-world counterpart, not a Rockstar statement.
How fast is the Vapid Ganado?
Rockstar has not published any GTA 6 vehicle statistics before launch. GTA6Bible's editorial estimate puts the Ganado's top speed at 120 mph, with 2 seats and an RWD drivetrain, rating acceleration, braking, handling and traction all 5 out of 10, not Rockstar-confirmed. GTABase's own data sheet lists only 2 seats for the Ganado '70; the rest of its GTA 6 statistics section reads "Coming soon."

What we still do not know
- Whether Rockstar named the Ganado through the Ultimate Edition reveal, with the whole modified truck as Ultimate Edition content (GTA6Bible), or whether the base Ganado is Jason's personal vehicle by default with only mods added by the edition (GTABase).
- The name itself: GTA6Bible calls it the "Vapid Ganado"; GTABase calls it the "Vapid Ganado '70".
- Any performance stats beyond GTA6Bible's editorial estimate; Rockstar has published none.
