Crest Kayak

The Crest Kayak is a GTA 6 Ultimate Edition bonus vehicle, a personal watercraft that becomes available at Jason Duval's safehouse.

How do you get the Crest Kayak in GTA 6?

Players who buy the Ultimate Edition get a personal Crest Kayak at Jason's safehouse, alongside the Dinka Enduro and Vapid Ganado. GTABase lists this under "How To Unlock" as the "Personal Jason Kayak," unlocked with the Ultimate Edition. GTA6Bible's own reporting holds that safehouses are not purchasable in GTA 6, reasoning that Jason and Lucia are fugitives on the run from police, so the kayak arrives bundled with the edition rather than bought on its own. See the pre-order page for what else the edition bundles.

What has Rockstar shown of the Crest Kayak?

The Crest Kayak was first shown in an official screenshot of Mount Kalaga National Park, with an NPC paddling it along one of the area's waterways. GTA6Bible reports the same watercraft later reappeared in a promotional screenshot for the Ultimate Edition, with Jason Duval using it in Leonida Keys.

What is the Crest Kayak based on?

GTA6Bible identifies the Crest Kayak's real-world basis as a Crescent Kayak; GTABase further specifies several variants, the Splashback, Ultralite and Primo. Both databases describe it as the first kayak to appear in the GTA series, and GTA6Bible calls it a brand-new addition rather than a returning GTA Online vehicle.

How fast is the Crest Kayak?

Rockstar has published no vehicle stats before launch. GTA6Bible's editorial estimate puts the Crest Kayak's top speed at 4 mph with one seat, and acceleration, braking, handling and traction all rated 1 out of 10. GTABase's "GTA 6 Statistics" section reads "Coming soon." for everything except seats, also listed as 1.

What we still do not know

• Whether Jason can carry or use the kayak to cross shallow waterways, as GTA6Bible speculates, is unconfirmed.
