'55 Vapid Stanier

The ’55 Vapid Stanier is a classic two-door sedan that comes free with any GTA 6 pre-order, stored in the Shore Court personal garage at Ocean Beach. It is a brand-new model in the Stanier line, not a returning GTA Online car, and Rockstar has confirmed it through its own pre-order material rather than a trailer sighting.

How do you get the ’55 Vapid Stanier in GTA 6?

The ’55 Vapid Stanier is available to everyone who pre-orders GTA 6, not only buyers of the paid Ultimate Edition upgrade covered on the editions page; see pre-order for what pre-ordering unlocks. It comes stored in the Shore Court personal garage in Ocean Beach, which also includes a weapon locker and a secure place to deposit stolen goods, the same kind of stash used throughout the game’s money loop covered in the money guide. The Ultimate Edition bundles a separate vehicle and garage of its own, the ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy, stored at a garage in Watson Bay.

What has Rockstar shown of the ’55 Vapid Stanier?

GTA6Bible reports that Rockstar has released several screenshots of the ’55 Vapid Stanier. Between them, the car is shown with Jason behind the wheel, in a close-up of its front door and chrome wheel, from a rear three-quarter angle, and with Jason and Lucia riding together inside the cabin.

What is the ’55 Vapid Stanier based on?

GTA6Bible identifies the ’55 Vapid Stanier’s real-world basis as a 1955 Ford Fairlane Crown Victoria. The outlet also reads the car as a likely evolution of the Oceanic, the 1950s cruiser tied to Vice City in earlier games, while noting that Rockstar itself has not used that name for it; GTA6Bible describes the Stanier as carrying the same period styling while being introduced as a new, early member of the Stanier family.
