GTA 6 PC Release Date: The Q1 2027 Report, New Radio Posters and Review Copies
TGG’s video of October 21, 2026 covers GamesBeat’s report of a Q1 2027 PC release, Rockstar’s radio and brand posters in Miami, and Insider Gaming’s report that reviews go live before November 19. This article shows what is printed on screen, checks the numbers, and keeps what Rockstar has said apart from reports and TGG’s guesses.
GTA 6 has no confirmed PC release date: Rockstar has announced only PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S for November 19, 2026, and the Q1 2027 PC window comes from a GamesBeat report built on four anonymous sources that Rockstar has not commented on. TGG covers that report in his video of October 21, 2026, together with a Weapon Wheel anecdote from Jason Schreier, a batch of Rockstar posters in Miami (radio stations among them), a Wynwood Walls partnership, Justice’s score and a second report, from Insider Gaming, that reviews will go live before launch. This page follows his order, shows what is actually printed on screen, and keeps what Rockstar has said apart from what a report or TGG says.
What is the GTA 6 PC release date, and where does Q1 2027 come from?
There is no date. The Q1 2027 window is a relayed report, not an announcement. TGG reads the GamesBeat piece to the camera from 0:32, and the text is on screen, so the wording can be checked: GamesBeat writes that it “has confirmed that Rockstar plans to release the PC version of GTA VI in the first quarter of 2027, according to four industry sources familiar with the studio’s plans, all of whom requested anonymity to avoid damaging business relationships.” The next sentence is the one that matters for how much weight to give it: “A Rockstar Games representative did not respond to a request for comment prior to the publication of this article.”
The same paragraph opens by describing the November 19 console release “across PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S” and the “yet-to-be-announced PC release date”. That matches Rockstar’s own store pages, which list only those two consoles, so nothing on the official side has changed. A report from four unnamed sources is a good lead and not a fact. TGG says the same: “It’s not confirmed so take it with a grain of salt.” He adds that four sources make it “pretty reputable” if true, and that he “could believe this this time around”.
| Claim | Who says it | Status on October 21, 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| GTA 6 launches November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S | Rockstar (store pages, trailers) | Official |
| A PC version exists and is planned for Q1 2027 | GamesBeat, four anonymous sources | Reported, not confirmed by Rockstar |
| PC and GTA 6 Online arrive together | TGG’s guess | Speculation |
| Reviews go live before November 19 | Insider Gaming | Reported, not confirmed by Rockstar |
| GTA 6 is eligible for The Game Awards 2026 | TGG | His statement, not read from an awards notice |
How long after the console launch would a Q1 2027 PC version be?
Between about six weeks and about four and a half months. The arithmetic is yours to redo: November 19, 2026 to January 1, 2027 is 43 days, and to March 31, 2027 is 132 days. GamesBeat’s own framing, visible on screen, is that this “comes only a few months after the game’s November 2026 console launch”, which it calls “a significantly quicker turnaround for PC development than the previous iteration of Grand Theft Auto, whose April 2015 PC release came roughly a year and seven months after the September 2013 release of Grand Theft Auto V.”
September 2013 to April 2015 is 19 months, so that checks out; the report would cut the wait to under five. Neither source gives system requirements, a store or a price, and this page has none. Digital Foundry’s view that 60fps on PC would be “genuinely challenging” is in our PS5 Pro article.
Will GTA 6 Online launch with the PC version?
Nobody has said so. This is TGG’s guess, and he labels it one: “That’s just a guess.” From 1:22 he reasons that Online would arrive in early to mid 2027 at the latest, and that Rockstar will not launch it and then hold PC back “for like a year after that”, given how big GTA Online is on PC, roleplay included.
Rockstar has confirmed no online mode. Our GTA 6 Online article sorts every claim about the mode by who made it, and a PC and Online pairing is not among the confirmed ones.
Why did Rockstar nearly drop the weapon wheel?
Because a wheel with empty slots reminds you of what you cannot carry. TGG plays a clip of Jason Schreier, invited to Rockstar North, who says Rob Nelson told him the team wanted GTA 6’s weapon system to be “more like Red Dead”, with a limited loadout instead of an unlimited arsenal. The worry, in Schreier’s retelling, was that a wheel “is going to have a bunch of blank spots in it”. The studio “spent months, if not years” on replacements, trays and webs among them, and even tried having no wheel, before it “just wound up back at a weapon wheel”.
This frame shows what the story is about: a pistol slot with two numbers, a Molotov with a count of 1, binoculars, a highlighted fist labeled “Unarmed, in hand”, and several slots that are simply empty. It is footage with a HUD, and TGG’s reading is that the wheel “we saw in the extended looks like it’s going to be the final version”. That reading, and Schreier’s account, are secondhand: Our weapons page keeps the question of carry limits open, and nothing here settles it.
What are the new GTA 6 radio stations in the Miami posters?
Four posters on screen look like radio stations, and the title’s “2 new radio stations” is not explained in the narration. TGG calls only Vice City FM new (7:16: “So, this is a new radio station revealed here”). He names a rock poster as V-Rock, calls Dirty South Classics a station “that we heard of”, and lists a Coco Teo that does not appear in the frames we read. The posters are Rockstar’s Miami marketing, each with a small Vice City logo and a QR code. That they are in-game radio stations is TGG’s reading, with one exception noted below.
| Poster text | Printed on screen | What TGG says |
|---|---|---|
| Vice City FM | “Take it back”, “Non-stop 80’s” | A new radio station playing non-stop 80s music |
| ROCK | “Circling the carcass of rock”, bird logo | V-Rock, “one of the rock stations in the game” |
| Dirty South Classics | “Classics that make you bounce!” | A radio station he had heard of |
| The Chamber | “Jump in the pit”, “106.6” | Something “we heard of last week”, with the Juice Loose ad |
Read only what is printed. The Chamber is the one poster with a number, 106.6, which is what a radio dial looks like, but the poster does not use the word radio. The ROCK poster prints “ROCK” alone, so “V-Rock” is TGG’s name for it, a plausible one given that Vice City’s rock station was V-Rock. None of the four names a DJ, a genre list or a track. Rockstar has still not published a station list: these posters add names and moods, not a lineup.
Which in-game brands is Rockstar advertising in Miami?
TGG counts “I believe it’s 24” in-game brands used as real-world ads across Miami, says many are new, and warns that new ones appear daily. That count is his, not Rockstar’s. He sets the scene first: cars driven around Miami that are modified into in-game versions, parts of the city painted in the game’s magenta and cyan, and the banner plane from the first trailer, the one advertising the 919 nightclub, flying for real.
The nightclub posters are the part with game consequences. The Vault and VYB are printed on screen, the latter as “Vice City’s hottest night club. What will you catch?”. TGG adds 919, Jack of Hearts and Delights and concludes there are “at least five different clubs” players will be able to enter. That is his tally and his assumption: a poster does not prove an enterable interior. He also notes Rockstar went on Miami trips to scope out nightclubs.
Kowalski’s tagline is “Suddenly you are big enough”; TGG thinks the name is a Bully reference, which is his belief. The Pfister poster, “Go topless.”, advertises “The Comet S2 Cabriolet”, a car name worth checking against the vehicle database. TGG’s other brand-to-brand matches are his own: Coil as the in-game Tesla, Eris as Nike, Sprunk as Sprite, Tucci as Gucci. They are fair guesses and nothing Rockstar has said.
The Megamundo poster advertises a show titled “El Destino Extiende Sus Alas”. TGG says Megamundo was in the Extended Look and guesses it parodies a streaming service, “Prime Video or Netflix or something”. He names Macca & Friends as returning (the poster reads “Coming November 19 on Weazel”), the Y Hotel, Burger Shot 24/7, Vapid’s “Truck like a man” and the two teams, Vice City Manatees and Vice City Narcos. For the places those brands could belong to, the locations page and the map are the references, and an ad is not a map marker.
Is Rockstar selling in-game beer in real life?
Not yet. TGG shows a post by Joel Franco, the Miami local he credits for many of these finds, saying he came to try Pißwasser at Monty’s in Coconut Grove “& was told it’s not available yet but will be soon”. Franco then called the brewery making the beer, and they pointed him to “their new app for any announcements”. TGG’s question, “is Rockstar actually going to make these brands into real life alcohol?”, is left open, and the answer is not in the post.
What is the Rockstar and Wynwood Walls partnership?
A Rockstar-presented poster reads “Wynwood Walls, the world’s leading street art museum: Free for locals”. TGG says Rockstar has partnered with the museum to give people free access “through 2028”, and that GTA 6 artwork is displayed there. The poster itself carries no date range; the 2028 end is his, with the words “I believe”. He also says the artwork is “street art that’s going to be in the game”, which is his statement, and no Rockstar line on screen backs it.
TGG also says participating artists are releasing merch of artwork meant for the game. He shows a T-shirt, a hoodie, a “We love Vice City” item and a tote bag at 10:15 to 10:30. Who sells them and for how much is not on screen, so neither is quoted here. The Miami activity is a pattern worth tracking: the Miami Heat collab on November 18 is the same kind of real-world promotion.
Who is composing the GTA 6 score?
Justice, per TGG: the duo who made the launch trailer song “Flower in a Hurricane” will compose “the entire or at least the majority” of the score. The source on screen is a post from the GTA 6 Countdown fan account, dated October 20, 2026, summarizing an interview with Justice, and the post, not Rockstar, is what we can read. It says they are aware of the hype and the “colossus approaching” but consciously view the project from the outside to keep their creative focus and avoid feeling overwhelmed.
The post says Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard together brought “secret ingredients” to the track, which corrects the names TGG reads aloud, where the captions garbled two of them. It also says Rockstar plans to share new details about the score “hopefully this Thursday”. That is the account’s hope and nothing Rockstar has said.
Is GTA 6 eligible for The Game Awards 2026?
Yes, according to TGG, who gives the rule: a November 19 release falls before a cutoff of November 20. He adds that the cutoff was not moved for GTA 6 and is “always the third week of November”, pushing back on viewers who were angry that it had been. The graphic he shows reads “The Game Awards, December 10”, with no year printed in the frame. The eligibility rule is his statement and we read no awards notice, so treat it as likely rather than certain.
Will GTA 6 reviews come out before the November 19 launch?
Insider Gaming says yes, and TGG relays it. The text on screen reads: “Insider Gaming has learned that Grand Theft Auto 6’s review estate will go live before the release on November 19.” It adds that the content “will drop before the game is in your hands (digitally)”. Review copies, TGG says, are “apparently going to be out there pretty soon”, if not already.
That second line matters: the embargo date exists, per Insider Gaming, and is withheld because it “is subject to change in the run-up to the game being released”. TGG guesses reviews “probably a few days before the game actually comes out” and worries only about leaks: “as long as nothing leaks early.” Rockstar has said nothing about review copies.
Reviews before launch would not change what a buyer pays. The editions page compares the Standard and Ultimate Editions, and the pre-order page covers the offers, if you want to decide before reviews appear.
What is still unknown about the PC release, the radio and the reviews?
- Whether Rockstar will confirm a PC version at all, and the window. Everything so far is a single GamesBeat report from anonymous sources.
- Whether GTA 6 Online exists, and whether it ships with PC. That pairing is TGG’s guess only.
- Which two stations the video’s title means by “2 new radio stations”. The screen shows four poster names, and only The Chamber carries a frequency.
- Whether the brand count of 24 is right, and whether the nightclubs are enterable.
- Whether the Wynwood art will appear in the game, and the end date of the free-entry offer.
- The embargo date, the list of outlets receiving review copies, and whether the report holds.
The heists, money pages and heist planner carry what is known about the game itself.
